Unlock Entry works to close the digital divide by transforming idle computer labs and underutilized digital infrastructure into active connectivity hubs. Our mission is to ensure that internet access is not a privilege but a basic enabler of opportunity—delivered in a way that is free or low-cost, reliable in everyday use, affordable for communities, and resilient in underserved and crisis-affected settings.
By partnering with schools, institutions, NGOs, and private sector actors, we activate existing infrastructure instead of building new systems—creating a scalable model for inclusive digital access, education, and empowerment.
One stubborn question.
In 2025, our founders kept noticing the same gap — community full of people with no internet access, and schools two streets away with computer labs sitting dark every single evening.
The question became: why are we waiting for millions of investments when the capacity to connect people already exists, unused, in the same communities? That question became Unlock Entry.

Identify schools and institutions with labs that go unused beyond school hours. Document devices, connection quality, and available time windows.

A clear, low-burden MOU defines open hours, responsibilities, and recognition. Liability and security concerns are addressed upfront with simple frameworks.
Reach Communities
Through trusted local networks — mosques, women’s groups, community organisations — we reach those who need access most. Outreach is community-led, not broadcast.
Open the Lab
Structured community sessions during idle hours. A light facilitation presence ensures safety, resolves issues, and guides first-time users without heavy overhead.
Measure and Replicate
Usage, profiles, and outcomes are tracked to strengthen the partnership case, attract further support, and build a replication toolkit for new sites.
